Pulo Cinta is an island located in Tomini Bay, Gorontalo. According to legend, this island is the location of a secret meeting between the Prince of Gorontalo and the daughter of a merchant from the Netherlands. This island is named "Pulo Cinta" because there is a mound of white sand resembling a heart shape in the middle of the island. This island is also often referred to as the Maldives of Indonesia.


To go to this place if you are from out of town, please book a flight ticket to Gorontalo. Then after arriving in Gorontalo, you can continue the trip by car to Bolihutuo Beach. From Gorontalo to Bolihutuo Beach take about 2 hours, then from this beach you can take a boat to Pulo Cinta. This boat trip only takes about 15 minutes.

Bolihutuo Beach

Boalemo, located on the bay coast of Tomini, has many beautiful beaches. One of them is Bolihutuo Beach, which is the most popular tourist destination in Gorontalo. This beach is located about 130 km from the city of Gorontalo, and can be reached in about 2 hours by road through the Trans Sulawesi route.

Olele Marine Park

The uniqueness of the Olele Marine Park is a coral flower called Salvador Dali Sponge which can only be found in this place. At a depth of two meters, coral stretches can be seen clearly. Botubarani Beach


This beach is located in the waters of Botubarani Village in Bone Bolango District, Gorontalo. Here you can feel the sensation of swimming or feeding a whale shark. It's quiet even though it's called a shark, but this whale shark is really tame. These whale sharks do not attack humans because they only eat plankton or small fish. But there is one thing you must remember, seeing this whale shark can only be done at certain times, because these animals like to move (migrate).


Saronde Island

This beautiful island is located in Ponelo District, North Gorontalo. The beach has clean and wide white sand stretching, and the sea water on this island is clear and bluish in color so that the island is often compared to its beauty with the Maldives.
