RINJANI, HIDDEN LAKE OF THE MOUNTAIN !!!



Indonesia is indeed rich in natural beauty. Mountains, sea, rice fields, all show how beautiful Indonesia is. One of Indonesia's natural charms is Mount Rinjani. This mountain with an altitude of 3,726 meters above sea level is indeed an option for climbers, both domestic and foreign climbers. How not, the story that spreads about its beauty, makes every climber must be challenged to explore the mountain located in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The climbing terrain of Mount Rinjani, it can be said is not too difficult, if you have found the right path. There are several usual climbing routes, namely Sembalun, Senaru, Timba Nuh, and Torean. Usually, the favorite path for climbers is the Sembalun Climbing Path, because the path is quite easy compared to other climbing routes. In the Sembalun Climbing Trail, you will pass through a flat savanna. But it is important to know, that protective cream is very necessary for during the day. But, afternoon sickness, the air around the savanna that can be said is not too hot, and you can also enjoy the singing of the melodious birds. There are 4 posts that must be passed in the climb of Mount Rinjani, namely post 1, post 2, post 3, and the last is the Plawangan Sembalun post. 

In this climb, it is very clear to bring enough drinking water, because not all of the posts that you pass are available in the air. The beauty of Mount Rinjani cannot be expressed in words. Both in the morning, during the day, in the evening and at night, the charm of Mount Rinjani is always magnificent. Especially at night, where you will see the beauty of a star-studded sky. Especially if you look at it while lying outside your tent like covered with sparkling stars. truly an experience that will never be forgotten. One of the places that climbers do not miss in climbing Mount Rinjani is Segara Anak Lake. Yes, this beautiful lake can be found after climbing through two routes, namely the Sembalun Climbing Trail and the Senaru Climbing Path. To reach Lake Segara Anak from the Sembalun Climbing Path, it takes around a minimum of 8 hours, while through the Senaru Climbing Trail, it takes around a minimum of 7 hours. 


Around Segara Anak Lake, people usually do some activities such as camping, soaking in warm sulfur water, and also fishing. To reach this lake, it's not a short time, but you won't regret it when you see the beauty. Many things can be witnessed on Mount Rinjani which is so beautiful. To go to Mount Rinjani, you can start from Mataram to Sembalun, East Lombok by traveling for about 2 hours. If you are outside Lombok, you can start by visiting Lombok by plane. After arriving at the airport, you must go to Selong, East Lombok by vehicle. From Selong, continue your trip to Aik Mel Market, East Lombok. From Aik Mel Market, then you go to Sembalun, East Lombok to start your ascent.
